It’s going to feel a little more like spring this weekend, as mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures are expected in the Wyoming Valley.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 26 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast skies were reported.

Mostly cloudy skies will linger today, along with a chance of scattered flurries after 9 a.m. Winds could also gust as high was 28 mph. Today’s high will be near 32.

Cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 21.

Mostly sunny skies will round out the week Friday, with a high near 27. Partly cloudy skies will carry over into Friday night, with a low around 27.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 50. Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Saturday night, with a low around 33.

Mostly sunny skies will round out the week on Sunday, with a high near 51. Partly cloudy skies will follow into Saturday night, with a low around 33.
