Share those old family recipes

DALLAS — A commemorative cookbook is being planned as part of this year’s Dallas Days Bicentennial Celebration. Old, local family recipes (the older, the better) are being sought for inclusion in the book, as well as accompanying vintage photos taken in the kitchen or during family dinners or celebrations. Recipes and photos should be from past generations, and credit will be given in the book to the contributing families.

Attics and old family cookbooks are the best places to look for grandma’s or mom’s recipes. How better to honor our family history than to publish a recipe in their honor?
