Dear Editor:

The Back Mountain Chamber’s Food Drive Committee would like to thank the entire community for helping to make its 2017 Annual Spring Food Drive a complete success. All donations will benefit the families living in the Dallas and Lake Lehman School Districts.

“The commitment of the Chamber’s Food Drive Committee during the three-week-long spring food drive proved to be a success. We shattered our goal by collecting 2,179 lbs. of food and $470 in monetary donation. Each year we strive to beat the prior year’s donations, and this year turned out to be incredible,” said Co-chair Sandy Race.

The chamber would like to thank the committee members for their dedication, the community for their generosity, and the following 39 businesses, schools, universities, etc. that allowed the containers to be placed.
