DALLAS — The Newberry Estate Homeowners Association hosted a luncheon at the Appletree Terrace of Newberry Estate recently to celebrate the 2015 Newberry Country Club Golf champions.
Mike Obeid was crowned men’s champion, Sheila McFadden was crowned women’s champion and Matthew Williams was crowned junior champion.
The championship began the week of Aug. 17 and wrapped up the week of Sept. 14. Each game is match play on nine holes until the final, a full 18 holes. Kast year’s women’s champion, Lillian McManus, was on hand to present McFadden with her award.
