Dallas and Lake-Lehman placed three players each on the first team of the Wyoming Valley Conference West all-star team as selected by conference coaches.

Midfielders Tiffany Zukosky and Ruby Mattson and defender Samantha Mazula were selected from Dallas while midfielder Julia Hutsko, defender Kaitlin Sutton and forward Mackenzie Love represented Lake-Lehman.

Tunkhannock midfielder Nicole Macko also made the first team.

Dallas and Lake-Lehman also had four second-team choices each.

The Dallas players were midfielders Katie Snedeker and Emma Lehman, defender Hollie Holthaus and goalkeeper Rachel Nelligan.

The Lake-Lehman players were midfielders Makalie Blazick and Kyra Apaliski, forward Amanda Ayers and defender Alley Jenkins.

The honorable mention list included: Magan Miller, Hannah Boyd, Nora Brown, Kyleigh Kravits, Olivia Kimmerle, Gabriela Ramirez and Rachel Maniskas from Dallas; Lexi Conklin, Ashley Brubaker, Kaylee Kishbaugh, Megan Spess, Julia Eneboe, Lauren Austin and Kait Premus from Lake-Lehman; and Haley Melan, Abby Ritz and Lexi Goodwin from Tunkhannock.

Girls volleyball

Tunkhannock senior middle hitter Amanda Hardy was a second-team choice on the Wyoming Valley Conference coaches’ all-star team.

Middle hitter Carolina Banas and libero Olivia Mennig, two seniors from Dallas who were part of the unbeaten championship Holy Redeemer team, were also second-team choices.

Dallas sophomore setter Caitlyn Pike received honorable mention.
