Back Mountain players selected for Field of Dreams baseball game set for June 19 at PNC Field

Dallas had three players selected to the Wyoming Valley Conference team for the fourth annual Field of Dreams Game, which has been moved to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 19 PNC Field in Moosic.

The annual all-star game for high school seniors at the home field of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders was originally scheduled for June 5, but was rained out.

Outfielder Ryan Martin, first baseman Aaron Yurko and catcher Dave Simpson from Dallas will play for the WVC against a team of Lackawanna League players.

Lake-Lehman had pitcher Tommy Williams and shortstop Tyler Kolb selected for the game.

Tunkhannock’s Gary Custer is the WVC manager and will have one of his players, pitcher Cody Brown, on the team.
