The awards keep piling up for Regan Rome’s sophomore year successes at William & Mary.

Rome, a distance runner from Dallas, was voted Colonial Athletic Association Women’s Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year earlier this month.

In addition to earning all-American status in each of the three seasons in the recently completed school year, Rome has received United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team honors every semester. She also received the William & Mary Provost’s Award for the last two years for maintaining a Grade Point Average above 3.5 as a mathematics major.

Rome completed her sophomore year with a seventh-place finish in the 5000-meter run at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
