Caraway Street has moved to its permanent location in the basement of the Dallas Baptist Church and children of the community couldnā??t be happier.
The interactive program teaches Christian values and Biblical truths. The program has been held over the last five years in the sanctuary of the church but, after a number of volunteers helped to transform the basement of the church to look like a town, it now has a new home.
Sets were taken down and repainted and remodeled while the walls in the hall leading to ā??Caraway Streetā? were painted to look like a garden, complete with a white picket fence.
The program is copyrighted but the church bought four years of scripts and plans to hold a performance based on a different moral lesson every Sunday.
