Yacht club donates to food pantry

This is the 10th summer that members of the Harveys Lake Yacht Club have made a donation to the Back Mountain Food Pantry. They held 50/50 raffles at every major event throughout the summer.

Yacht club member Madeline Flynn, returning chairperson of the food pantry fundraiser, has made sure that raffle tickets were sold at every party and potluck dinner. This year she raised $566 for the pantry to help meet its mission to help those less fortunate in our community.

Thanksgiving will soon be upon us, and dozens of families will benefit from the efforts of Mrs. Flynn and the yacht club members who donated so generously again this year.
