DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of May 2:

MONDAY: Chicken and sausage bake, chuck wagon corn, steamed brown rice, strawberry parfait, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Mother’s Day Special Dinner — Cider glazed chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes, dilled carrots, whole wheat dinner roll, crumb cake, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Turkey and dumpling, green and wax beans, boiled new potatoes, peach crisp, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Bag lunch

FRIDAY: Roast beef, brussels sprouts, roasted red potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, fresh fruit salad, milk and coffee.
