Oscar Flores has been hired as Luzerne County’s new Veteran Affairs director, Megan Stone, county Human Services division head, announced Monday.

Tim McGinley presented his first required annual report as Luzerne County’s new elected controller during last week’s council work session.

While noting a few concerns, Penn’s Northeast President and CEO John Augustine expressed general support for Luzerne County Council’s proposed new tax break ordinance.
